Waste Bowl, Diminutive Hot Water Pitcher, and Coffeepot inscribed: ?Jan. 11, 1857? on one side and ?C.H.V.A./ From/ B.F.B.? (Cornelia Hannah Van Alen From Benjamin Franklin Butler) on the opposite side. Sugar Bowl and Teapot inscribed "CHB" (Cornelia Hannah Butler) on one side in conjoined script.
