Provenance
Although the ownership cannot be traced, this bears on one side the triangular initials of William and Sarah (Crisp) Harris who were married April 11, 1694, a date consistent with the style of the cup and one year after Dummer had been named by Sanderson to be one of the "overseers" of his estate.

Engraved near rim with partly erased initials H over W-S Marks: Struck at rim with Heart mark, opposite side with initials.
